RED HANDED: High Octane Pictures Lands Home Release Next Month On DVD
Writer/director Frank Peluso had his day with audiences last month at SPIFFest in Los Angeles for his new dramatic thriller, Red Handed. High Octane Pictures now has a stake in its release on DVD and Digital beginning December 3. When their father is murdered, three brothers descend upon an Oregon mountain river to spread his ashes. After they arrive, one of their children goes missing. One of the brothers was himself abducted 30 years ago when they visited this same river, but he has blocked the incident out of his mind. Only by unlocking the mysteries inside his subconscious, will they be able find the child and return him to safety. The film is produced by Nick Cassavetes and Aaron Steele-Nicholson, and stars Christian Madsen, Owen Burke, Ryan Carnes and Kenzie Dalton, with Michael Biehn and Michael Madsen.

Genre fans in North America can now set the date for April 14, 2014 at 8:00pm/7:00pm central for the upcoming fantasy action series, Metal Hurlant Chronicles. Best known in the U.S. as Heavy Metal, the series is based on the original 1974 French comic book anthology, initially launching its first season in French households two years ago before finally finding a home in North America courtesy of Syfy, as per the official announcement back in February. Directed by Guillaume Lubrano, season two is already on the way with both season set to air beginning on the aforementioned date. The series will star John Rhys-davies, Michael Biehn, Scott Adkins, James Marsters, Michael Jai White, Michelle Lee, Darren Shahlavi, Matt Mullins, Silvio Simac, Rutger Hauer and Kelly Brook. MMA Action Drama TAPPED-OUT Gets A New Trailer And U.S. Release Date
