Hey Los Angeles! Go See PLANET OF THE SHARKS For Free At The Green Me Film Fest This Saturday Night!

Now available on DVD and VoD is director Sand Sharks and Road Wars helmer Mark Atkins’s latest offering from The Asylum, Planet Of The Sharks. The film premiered on Syfy during Sharknado week and became a top-rated original. Personally I don’t do shark movies but having seen my fair share, I respect the fan fervor quite a bit.

SYNOPSIS:

In the near future, glacial melting has covered 98% of earth’s landmass. Sharks have flourished and now dominate the planet, operating as one massive school led by a mutated alpha shark.

Expect the forthcoming sequel, Empire Of The Sharks, to arrive next summer as well. In the meantime, Planet Of The Sharks now sits in two current film fest line-ups for this weekend as of this past Monday – the Stuff MX Film Festival in Mexico City, Mexico, and the Green Me Film Festival in Los Angeles, California. If you happen to be in town for the latter and are in the mood for some high-seas B-movie thrills and suspense, Planet Of The Sharks is offering free festival screenings this Saturday at 10:00pm PST at Landmark’s Regent Theater, located at 1045 Broxton Ave, Los Angeles, California 90024.
