With word of post production on his solo freshman feature, Rage, he’s running its first official trailer with works, and even more intense and engaging storied footage from the dramatic new thriller.

The past few years have been some of the most eventful for director John Balazs who just swept this year’s Action On Film Megafest in five categories, including Best Breakout Action Performer of the Year for actress Adele Elasmar. Nowadays you’ll also find him toiling away at post production on his latest dark new crime drama, Rage, with Melbourne-based La Rosa Productions joining in as producer on the new film following a deal officiated earlier this week.

Pre-production remains for director John Balazs’ feature debut, Rage, set to commence in the first quarter next year. Casting also continued in the months since newcomer Matt Theo was attached to star and the latest word now brings aboard actor and martial arts star Richard Norton to the fray.

Aussie director John Balazs‘ work in the past year and change have been all but some of the best I’ve scene on the shortfilm circuit. The goal, as always however, has been to grow into bigger projects and as of March next year, he plans on doing just that with the new independent thriller, Rage, which has up-and-comimg Matt Theo set to star from a script by Michael J. Kospiah.


THE HIT LIST – November 9, 2015
The second trailer comes from actor and up-and-comer Emilien De Falco, who I have had the pleasure of covering a time or two on my blog in a few shorts. This time he returns for the upcoming January 2016 short, Rage, from director Jonathan Cocco. This one looks full of thrills and vengeance with just the kind of action martial arts fans will love, and I will do my best to follow up on this one.
