THE HIT LIST: October 17, 2016
…Anyway, enough of that. It’s time to get to a trio of meaty, mighty playlists for this week’s installment of THE HIT LIST that I know you will have plenty to fill up with. And on that note, we can always count on actor, martial artist, stuntman and filmmaker Eric Jacobus to lead the way for videos specially attributed to the Tekken game franchise. With another already in tow, Armor King is now staking his claim via Eric’s YouTube channel first up in the playlist below, followed by a slew of stunt and demo reels by Luci Romberg, Jake Teel, Sakaeda Ayami, Justin Hall, Daisy Fryer, Fernando Campos, ToniMarie Chiavola, Angel Flores, Meredith Richardson, Roger Bartlett, Noelle Mulligan, Jonathan King, Cavin Mohrhardt and an awesome new fan reel inspired largely by filmmaker Steve Wang’s Guyver: Dark Hero, with actor and martial artist Anthony Houk’s central costume performance in the title role.

THE HIT LIST – December 21, 2015
The Martial Club team has been busy for some months now having trained with Leo Au Young, martial arts instructor and a friendly face among those as fight coordinator for several Ip Man films on top of having studied under Ip Man’s son, Ip Chun. That said, while the Donnie Yen-starring franchise itself takes a few historical liberties, there’s no question that the films pay homage to a great man in at least one form or another which is imaginably challenging to do. Ip Man Returns echoes that effort graciously in its own way for fans of kung fu and martial arts, which undeniably serves as a hit in my book.

Help Crowdfund The New Star Wars Fan-Film, OUTER RIM SLAVE For Force Storm Entertainment!
This year’s Star Wars Celebration begins its four-day weekend event this Thursday on April 16, and it’s all the rage right now as fans prepare to feel the Force awaken once more this December with the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This, coupled with last week’s digital re-release of all six previous films so far makes things even more exciting as fans and content creators gather just in time to share their own projects, fandom and more, and actor and Force Storm Entertainment founder Noah Fleder‘s latest debut effort with the J.J. Abrams-approved online fan short, The Betrayal, is no exception.
The project is the first of many to come for the channel with the hopes of creating a variety of content. Of course, some of these videos still require funding to some degree, and to that extent, Fleder is back with a brand new Indiegogo campaign to help present another action-packed venture, Outer Rim Slave, a story centered on the Jedi council’s mission to investigate and take down an intergalactic slave trafficking ring. Fleder will perform with online action favorite and star of Chris Nahon’s upcoming thriller, Lady Bloodfight, actress Amy Johnston and a cast soon to be announced as production commences, and surely those details could preferably come a lot sooner provided that donations come through.
Rest assured, if you enjoyed The Betrayal, you will definitely want to help make Outer Rim Slave happen. So if you’re interested, head over to the Indiegogo campaign page for all the details and more!
