Director Renny Harlin’s adaptation of Noah Boyd’s 2010 novel gets new life with the official trailer for Aaron Eckhart thriller, The Bricklayer. Hannah Weg and Matt Johnson adapted the screenplay marking the latest for Eckhart in his continued output of titles proliferating him as an action star going into the new year, with a day-and-date release set for January 4.

Renny Harlin is set to direct action thriller The Bricklayer, casting Aaron Eckhart in the latest update since the project began brewing ten years ago as a Gerard Butler vehicle, according to Deadline’s Andreas Wiseman on Friday. Production is set to commence in March at Millenium Media’s new Nu Boyana Studios’ locations in Greece and Bulgaria.
