Splinter and Filly Brown helmer Michael D. Olmos‘s new superhero action adventure, The Green Ghost, is starting to build up somewhat of a promotional campaign with a little something extra. In other words, with any luck, the newest 25-second teaser will attach soon to an upcoming wider release of Robert Rodriguez’s latest music video featuring Demi Lovato in “Condifent”, which should grant even more exposure for Chilean action star and co-star Marko Zaror who also makes an appearance. This weekend, the film is poised to present ten minutes of the film at Fantastic Fest while we currently await a full trailer, although the film’s traction has guaranteed us our look at the first official poster art courtesy of Twitchfilm. Hopefully you’ve had a chance to take advantage of this weekend’s limited theatrical and VoD release of action star Marko Zaror‘s newest revenge thriller, Redeemer. He is not going away anytime soon as he’s kept himself pretty busy this past Spring over in Texas as the fight choreographer and starring villain in an upcoming superhero comedy based on an indie bilingual webseries that appears to have done well for itself in conjunction with public outreach to Hispanic locals in the Rio Grande area. Such is the case for The Green Ghost, originally the brainchild of actor and real-life car dealer Charlie Clark who stars as a car salesman born in the barrio and exists to fight crime. The fallout hasn’t been easy to deal with for fans since the mysterious debacle behind the stifled development of Mo’ Brothers films, Timo Tjahjanto’s The Night Comes For Us, and incidentally, Kimo Stamboel’s One Good Thing, the latter for which Redeemer star, action maestro Marko Zaror (pictured left, right of Arnold Chon) was supposed to be filming about now. Gladly however, this is not at all hampering Zaror‘s career as the film could very well possibly take off once again further somewhere down the line. In the meantime, the Chilean martial arts action star is now keeping firmly busy in Texas ahead of the upcoming production of the new comedy, The Green Ghost, from Mutt Productions.
