One of the things I purely enjoy about Dev Patel deals inherently in that I’ve always felt there was an untapped potential. Undoubtedly he’s proven himself time and again, and I guess that’s the beauty of it we’re seeing as we look forward to A24’s newest dark medieval fantasy epic, The Green Knight. There’s heavy drama, compelling visuals and a few morsels of action I could go for here, and I know Patel definitely has it in him. An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, ‘The Green Knight’ tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men.
