Super Bowl LVI: Not Just a Football Game but Full of Trailers Too

This past weekend was huge in cultural events: the Super Bowl was played (and Tom Brady was not in it!), there was a hip-hoppin’ halftime show full of some of my favorite artists, and there was a healthy helping of geek culture served in the form of some awesome trailers. Amazon’s THE LORD OF THE RINGS Series Crews Up With British Chinese Director Wayne Che Yip

British Chinese director Wayne Che Yip (Hunters, Preacher, Channel 4’s Utopia, AMC’s Into The Badlands, Doctor Who, upcoming The Wheel of Time) is joining the creative team behind Amazon Studios’ The Lord Of The Rings Series. Yip will direct four episodes for the new Amazon Original show which is currently filming in New Zealand, and will also serve as co-executive producer.
