Super Bowl LVI: Not Just a Football Game but Full of Trailers Too
This past weekend was huge in cultural events: the Super Bowl was played (and Tom Brady was not in it!), there was a hip-hoppin’ halftime show full of some of my favorite artists, and there was a healthy helping of geek culture served in the form of some awesome trailers. I am a geek and a sports fan so when my sporting events include my geek stuff like these trailers, I am super happy. In case you missed it, the following trailers dropped during the Super Bowl:
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
I absolutely love Middle Earth. If I could travel there, I would (or I will, since I have put New Zealand on my to travel list). I thoroughly enjoyed watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy in theaters on opening night and have since enjoyed multiple viewings of the extended versions. I even enjoyed the Hobbit films because despite their flaws, they took me back to Middle Earth. And now, we finally have a date for when the long-awaited Amazon series will premier. Did you see the trailer? If not, here is the link:
I can’t wait until September 2nd to return to Middle Earth.
Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
As excited as I was to see a glimpse of the next Dr. Strange film, I was very disappointed that it was only a teaser and I had to go online (after the game because I couldn’t miss the game, halftime show, or commercials) to watch the entire trailer. But it was worth the wait. Don’t believe me? Watch it here:
Marvel fans, you have until May 6 to get caught up on all things Marvel.
Jurassic World Dominion
I have loved dinosaurs ever since watching A Land Before Time. I was a big fan of the original Jurassic Park movies and have enjoyed the new films as well. In the ending of this second trilogy, we get to see what happens when dinosaurs live all over the world:
Jurassic World Dominion will be in theaters June 10.
Marvel’s Moon Knight
As much of a Marvel fan as I am, I have to admit that I do not know a lot about Moonknight, but am excited for another Marvel show nonetheless:
I mean, I don’t know about you, but I am totally looking forward to embracing the chaos on March 30th.
So, which of the above movies or shows are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments!
