The ceremony has only begun for Malaysian director Adrian Teh, best known as one of several for bringing some of the Southeast Asian region’s most notable action pictures to audiences with titles like Paskal and Wira to boast about.
His latest, The Assistant, just had its World Premiere at the 24th Udine Far East Film Festival in Italy and is currently on course to screen at the 21st Neuchâtel International Film Festival in Switzerland this July. Before then, local audiences can expect to catch the new action crime thriller beginning May 19, from Sony Pictures Malaysia, and a new trailer and poster are online as of last month.
