THE MOON Makes Its Landing In Theaters Next Month From Well Go USA
It’s gonna take more than the increasingly finite chances of survival during a space mission that takes a turn for the worse to bring down Doh Kyung-soo. With a little help from Sol Kyung-gu this time around, he may just live to tell the tale about his trip to director Kim Yong-hwa’s The Moon, now on deck for an August 18 theatrical release from Well Go USA.
Seven years after Korea’s first fully manned mission to the moon ends in disaster, a second human spaceflight is launched successfully—until a strong solar wind causes the spacecraft to malfunction. With an astronaut left stranded in space and quickly running out of oxygen, the Naro Space Center turns to its former managing director to avert yet another fatal catastrophe.
