As such, director David Ayer has something going for himself with the forthcoming release of Suicide Squad which, itself, still boasts quite the excitement for comic book movie fans. However, reshoots are reportedly underway at the moment to help provide the film with a more appealing action tone than what BvS invoked, which makes it a little interesting to wonder how the film would have done prior to the reshoots.
At any rate, Ayer is a fantastic director and Suicide Squad is a perfect project for someone who’s lit up the screen with riveting work with a resumé of thrillers like End Of Watch, Fury, and Sabotage. We get a cast that features Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Joel Kinnaman, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Cara Delvingne playing a roster of villains given a new lease on life as criminals-turned-anti-heroes under the watchful eye of actress Viola Davis in exchange for clemency against an unknown and potentially dangerous threat.

And to say the least, I’m pretty hooked. And yes, Ben Affleck’s Batman is still in this one, so that’s a plus.
