THE RECKONER Teams Kenji Taniagki And Peter Dinklage For New Actioner
The Furious director Kenji Tanigaki has another project in the pipeline with The Reckoner, as reported by THR’s Mia Galluppo on Wednesday. The film will star Peter Dinklage (The Toxic Avenger) from a script by Derek Kolstad (John Wick); both are producing alongside AGBO’s Anthony and Joe Russo among the team.
Plot details remain pending on the project which has also been acquired by Lionsgate following events at Toronto International Film Festival. The Reckoner otherwise returns Tanigaki back to the set for another prospect following the massive success of his latest directorial outing, The Furious, pitting an ensemble of martial arts action stars led by Xie Miao and Joe Taslim.
Tanigaki is also tapped to steer an ambitious new reimagining of South Korean hit, The Man From Nowhere, as of April.
