THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Teaser Trailer Rocks Out Marvel’s Latest Epic Heroics
A lot of times it’s easy to forget these movies exist. I was at the doctor’s just coming out of an appointment when the first teaser arose for Thor: Love And Thunder, which was a pleasant suprise.
The saga continues once again with Chris Hemsworth back in the title role and as we see in the footage above, back in his signature, trimmed-down form after a few chain workouts and such, and reunited with Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill and his ragtag Guardians – interestingly minus Zoe Saldaña’s Gamora. I reckon there’ll be an explanation at some point.

The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced — a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who — to Thor’s surprise — inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.
Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.
Invariably we have Taika Waititi back on campus for the latest post-Infinity Saga installment of the Thor films as well. July 8 is the date!
