TIGER VS PATHAAN: The Next YRF Spy Chapter Starts Filming In 2024

Pathaan, Siddharth Anand’s latest contribution to Yash Raj Films’ “Spy Universe,” will continue in the upcoming sequel, Tiger VS Pathaan, filming next year in January. Multiple reports online are confirming the news along with the expected returns of Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Salman Khan.

“YRF isn’t talking about this project just yet because they have grand plans to announce it in a massive way but a lot of work has already started on Tiger vs Pathaan. We are expecting the film to start rolling in January 2024. Aditya Chopra is going to keep all details under wrap because this is the biggest ever Bollywood film that the industry has attempted to make in a long, long time. It is not every day that you get India’s biggest superstars SRK & Salman in one film,” the source shared.

Chopra has produced all the films dating back to Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (2012), starring Khan and actress Katrina Kaif who both reprised their roles for Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) from director Ali Abbas Zafar. Anand made his entrance a few years later introducing Hrithik Roshan opposite Tiger Shroff in War (2019), with SRK leaping into action for Pathaan in Janaury. Khan is expected to appear separately in a third installment for his Tiger franchise later this year.

Pathaan was released in theaters several months ago with SRK in the role of a former RAW officer whose latest exploits find him enveloped in a world of danger and conspiracy when another former agent turns terrorist as an act of vengeance. With the help of a sexy former ISI agent, our hero is thrust into high-flying action in order to prevent a deadly virus from unleashing in India.

The film comes crafted with all the essential blockbuster trimmings and with SRK in top screenfighting form alongside co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. One of the most fun action sequences takes place on a speeding train in Russia where franchise character, Tiger (Khan) gets an extended cameo, which continues toward the end of the film.

All four films of the YRF Spy Universe are now on Amazon Prime. That should be plenty of explosive action to help the lot of you cope post-John Wick: Chapter 4 if needed, so dive right in!
