Director Justin Lin’s newest film, Star Trek: Beyond is almost here, folks. It’s been an epic, grand fare of emotion and interstellar spectacle, one with its own share of highs and lows and which otherwise culminate a proven effort at revitalizing one of the most beloved sci-fi properties in the history of film and TV.
Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoƫ Saldana, Jon Cho, Simon Pegg and
the reportedly irreplaceable, late actor Anton Yelchin have all been exceptional in their roles so far, and at one point, I admit I thought that this would have been it for all things
Star Trek as far as trilogies go. I stand corrected, of course, and with talk in recent days leading up to the news of a fourth now in the works, and with none other than
Star Trek‘s 2009 actor Chris Hemsworth potentially joining Pine as the Kirk father/son duo, which should be interesting and exciting for everyone. (H/T:

For now, the work of promoting Lin’s contribution to the film continues as the days wind down to its release this Friday. As such, Lin’s Asian American pop-culture and entertainment platform,
YOMYOMF, has arrived with a final trailer that continues to tease as much of the hyperspeed kickass in warpdrive as possible.
It’s a good week to be a Star Trek fan. Watch the final trailer now!
