The New RUROUNI KENSHIN Sequel Poster Bids "Farewell" To A Legend
Also grazing the new poster is a tagline that reads “Farewell, Kenshin” which the films’ spokesperson Tokunaga Kimura referenced author Nobuhiro Watsuki’s original manga on which the films are based, saying “It signifies the end of the Kyoto arc, where Kenshin in his desperate state may not be able to honor his oath not to kill, thanks to the appearance of the most insane enemy — and the parting of loved ones.”.
Both Rurouni Kenshin films – Kyoto Inferno and The Legend Ends are directed by Keishi Otomo, and will release respectively in Japan on August 1 and September 13, courtesy of Warner Bros. Japan.
