POLICE STORY: LOCKDOWN Locks A Release U.S. Date
It was well over a year ago that director Deng Sheng‘s Police Story 2013 arrived in theaters in Asia. The film reteams the director omce more with international action star Jackie Chan in a story that centers on a mainland cop who falls into a dangerous trap when a bar is taken hostage. All in all, it proved to be an ample continuation of Chan‘s cinematic reign among the niche with a much darker and grittier, more non-canonical approach compared to the usual tone of Hong Kong comedy he’s become known for.
Thankfully, Well Go USA has locked a date for its own theatrical and digital release of the film now in the form of Police Story: Lockdown for June 5, 2015. Actor Liu Ye and actress Tian Jing also star, and while there’s no graphic or trailer footage for its U.S. arrival just yet, there are always the previous trailers to help whet the appetite. Take a look at the Chinese trailer just below, stay excited and stay tuned for some official poster and trailer gems!

Note that I didn't state a DVD/Blu-Ray release date. I stated a theatrical and digital release.

I'm on top of my shit, Tirry. It's been six days, Tirry. I have close to 7k followers on Facebook and my blog has been around long enough for Well Go to notice, if I were being in any way untruthful in any way shape or form about their products. Besides, if it were an April fools' joke, I would have at least fucking updated this post saying so. Think! Be logical! Otherwise don't be surprised with the way I respond.
