It’s been a remarkable year so far for the folks over at 87 Eleven Action Design. Now more than ever, they’ve taken to social media to showcase numerous pre-viz fight clips and short action vids for fans who love action cinema in any capacity.
Accordingly, their platform is exactly where actress and stuntwoman Heidi Moneymaker has positioned herself this week for her newest shortfilm release, Behind Every Great Man. Filmed on-location in Germany over the summer, Heidi wrote and directed, as well as provided pre-viz choreography for the new project, which was shot in the course of a rigorous schedule as everyone involved was working on a movie at the time.
Heidi is joined by sister, actress and stuntwoman Renae Moneymaker, along with Germany-based stunt company Reel Deal Action members Can Aydin, Cha-Lee Yoon and Phong Giang, who played an intergral role in their collective three-day team effort. The result? Well, if you watch a lot of movies, you might find some cool easter eggs that should help comprehend the title’s hidden message — this, on top of getting ro to watch one of the most jaw-dropping and electrifying martial arts action shorts you will see online this week. It’s why the Moneymaker sisters are who they are and do what they do. And of course, I have no complaints.
Behind Every Great Man
is just one of a few other shortfilm projects Heidi
