Actress and martial artist Sarah Chang will star alongside Scott Adkins in Accident Man 2, from debut directors George and Harry Kirby. Production begins in Malta next month from Sony Entertainment and Six Demon Films, with a script by Stu Small, storied by both Small and Adkins.
Adkins headlined the inaugural 2018 hit with helmer Jesse V. Further reportable cast and crew info, as well as story details remain pending as pre-production ramps up.
U.S.-born Chang is a national Wushu champion and a five-time member of the U.S. Wushu Team whose skills have helped bridge her career in front of the camera, seeking film and television opportunities in Taiwan, Beijing, and eventually the Philippines. Her screen credits partly include lead roles in Vincent Soberano’s The Trigonal: Fight For Justice, and opposite Mayling Ng in Blood Hunters: Rise Of The Hybrids. Chang will next appear in supernatural thriller, Circle Of Bones, coming this month to North America from Vertical Entertainment.
Adkins, best known as the recurring DTV champion of the Undisputed MMA action saga as Uri Boyka for several installments, comes off of shooting his most recent role in the action-heavy cast for next year’s fourth John Wick installment from Lionsgate. He will next appear in director James Nunn’s latest one-take siege thriller, One Shot, releasing in November from Screen Media.
