Action, Drama And Big Scale Stunts Highlight The New Teaser For FAIR GAME
Independent filmmaker Eric Nguyen is still a busy man bringing his own vision to indy action and martial arts cinema. These days he’s been working with actor and professional stunt performer Jeffrey Griffith, and now Nguyen is ready to impress with a new short film on the way titled Fair Game.
The film also stars Joshua Bross and is based on the story of a consulting agent hired by a security agency to aid an escaped prisoner, only to learn the truth of his mission later on. But I have to say, never mind all that…because that’s Jeffrey riding on top of a moving car. That’s right, A CAR. And I place emphasis on this because I rarely see stunts that big on an independent level. Point fact, I have already noticed the independent screenfighting industry upping the antee on the level of stunt work included in a few projects, and even in promotional trailers for investers from time to time.
I was amazed by this teaser, which alone proves its own special way that the independent action scene means business and takes its craft seriously. It’s exciting.
Fair Game also stars James Lee, Sean Anderson, Ken Black and Mikey Arce, and is written, directed and choreographed by Eric Nguyen. The short film is on its way to post production, so stay tuned for its release!
