It’s not easy being an action star, seeing as how our favorite frontmen work day in and day out to train their bodies to entertain the masses of movie lovers who enjoy great cinematic screenfighting. As certain as we are that movie remakes are not going away anytime soon, Israeli filmmakers Navot Papushado and Aharon Keshales are re-emerging once again to verify that fact. The two received notable praise from moviegoers and the press as they toured the festival circuit last year with their latest murder mystery interrogation thriller, Big Bad Wolves. The film eventually earned its share of accolades last year with mostly positive reviews before releasing earlier in North America courtesy of Magnet Releasing. Cedric Tellier's Action Short, LA CASSE Gets A Hard-Hitting Teaser

Indie filmmaker and actor Cedric Tellier has a clear eye for cinematic action, as well as the muscle to show for it on all fronts, and on both ends of the camera as well. He conveyed this very fact in my eyes when I first saw his work on his early 2014 short, Elit Unit, done on a zero-budget with a year of post work before its airing. As of late, Tellier is out with a new teaser for another little up-and-coming video – one of a few projects between now and hopefully before the end of next month. This one is called La Casse, accompanied by fellow actor Kevin Remy and shot in a day and a half in a junkyard, leaving plenty of room for some huge leaps, hard falls, big kicks, and some notable collateral damage along the way. Stuntman Bryan Sloyer is a purveyor of this craft in several facets, now well over a year into his growing career as a stuntman with a knack for Filipino martial arts and a passion for a place both in front, as well as behind the camera. If you haven’t subscribed to his channel yet, than his latest action reel should serve as reason enough. It contains bits from practice fights that are both available on his channel as well as others pending, and they’re all worth checking out at some point before you end up falling too far behind. Marvel muscled up its repetoire on Tuesday with a new addition to its comic book line to possibly accompany its third impending installment of Captain America 3, essentially opening the door to a new phase in their cinematic universe. This comes as DC Entertainment and Warner Bros have been aiming to go neck-and-neck with their current focus on director Zack Synder’s Batman V. Superman: The Dawn Of Justice, following their blockbuster success with Man Of Steel last year, in addition to the development of other properties for film.
