BEAST IN ME Shows Its Teeth In New Stills From The MMA Drama Starring Russell Crowe And Daniel MacPherson
MMA fight drama Beast In Me is out with a trio of first look stills thanks to Deadline’s Andreas Wiseman. Tyler Atkins is directing the pic from a script by Crowe, and by Land Of Bad scribe David Frigerio who also produces via Broken Open.
Actor Daniel MacPherson reunites with Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe (Land Of Bad) for the story of an out-of-work former MMA fighter who suffers a personal tragedy involving his brother. With the help of a veteran trainer, played by Crowe, he sets out to avenge his brother by coming out of retirement to compete in ONE Championship.
Rounding out the cast are Luke Hemsworth, Mojean Aria, Kelly Gale, George Burgess, Bren Foster, Saphira Moran, and Australian musician Amy Shark, who makes her feature film debut. Also producing are John Schwarz and Michael Schwarz from Deeper Water Films, and Tim O’Hair from Armagh Films. Shane Abbess, Brett Thornquest, Jamie Arscott, Lisa Wilson, and Myles Nestel serve as exec producers.
The film is currently being sold to buyers at the EFM via sales banner Solution Entertainment Group.
