I don’t know about you, but I have some experience with caregiving. It can be exhausting and draining though rewarding and meaningful. But I never stopped to think that being a caregiver could also be scary, at least not in the horror movie sense. Actor, filmmaker and producer Alexander Nevsky had other ideas, though. Nevsky will be producing his very first horror film called Night of the Caregiver. According to the press release, the film is written by Craig Hamann and is about: Hospice nurse Juliet is hired to be caregiver for Lillian, who lives in an isolated house in a remote area. Stunt multi-hyphenate and film director James Mark (Kill Order, On The Ropes) just wrapped action thriller, Escalation during the week, as announced by Kemodo Entertainment on Thursday evening. The company shared multiple behind-the-scenes photos of the film which reunites Chris Mark (Kill Order) and George Tchortov (Designated Survivor) following their appearence in Mark’s Kill Order sequel, Enhanced. A former police officer puts aside his differences with the force in order to track down his brother’s murderer. He teams with a younger detective to bring the case home. Filmmaker George Threadgold has just wrapped a three-week shoot in and around central and North London for debut independent spy thriller, White Crow. Cameras rolled for three weeks back in September and with the film now entering post-production ahead of a 2022 release. White Crow hails from New Earth Productions and producer Djonny Chen’s Silent D Pictures. Screendaily‘s Jeremy Kay is exclusively reporting the additions of Sheila Shah, Jacob Scipio and Levy Tran to the current cast roster of the fourth installment of The Expendables franchise. Directed by Scott Waugh, production reportedly began in the UK with a screenplay by Spenser Cohen – revised by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly. Pre-production has started for independent action thriller, Rupture, which has actor and martial artist Mark Strange (Ip Man 4: The Finale, Redcon-1) set to star. Cameras will roll in July in Birmingham, U.K. with Ranjeet S. Marwa (upcoming Exiled: The Chosen Ones) directing from a script and story treatment from Daniel White. Raven, a recently freed man from prison must confront the people who put him inside. However, revenge is not always the answer, redemption is.
