Late Wednesday evening, IGN published the first official look at actor Michael B. Jordan in the new espionage thriller, Without Remorse, opening in theaters September 2020. The film hails from Paramount Pictures and centers on Jordan’s latest incarnation as Tom Clancy staple John Clark, origin story of John Clark, a Navy SEAL-turned-CIA ops officer whose mission of vengeance opens a door to an even darker, more dangerous conspiracy. Saban Films has acquired the rights to sci-fi thriller Breach starring Bruce Willis. Here is the synopsis from the press release: Breach follows a young stowaway (Kearsley) aboard an interstellar ark to New Earth. Writer/director Frank Peluso had his day with audiences last month at SPIFFest in Los Angeles for his new dramatic thriller, Red Handed. High Octane Pictures now has a stake in its release on DVD and Digital beginning December 3. When their father is murdered, three brothers descend upon an Oregon mountain river to spread his ashes. After they arrive, one of their children goes missing. One of the brothers was himself abducted 30 years ago when they visited this same river, but he has blocked the incident out of his mind. Only by unlocking the mysteries inside his subconscious, will they be able find the child and return him to safety. The film is produced by Nick Cassavetes and Aaron Steele-Nicholson, and stars Christian Madsen, Owen Burke, Ryan Carnes and Kenzie Dalton, with Michael Biehn and Michael Madsen.

BLOOD ON HER NAME: Vertical Nabs New Matthew Pope Thriller

According to Deadline, Vertical Entertainment has acquired English-speaking world rights to the film Blood on Her Name. The film is described as a neo-noir thriller that “follows a single mother (Lind) whose panicked decision to cover up an accidental killing spirals out of control when her conscience demands she return the dead man’s body to his family.” The film premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival and stars Bethany Anne Lind (Ozark), Will Patton (Remember the Titans) and Elizabeth Röhm (American Hustle). Matthew Pope not only directs, but also wrote this film with Don M. Thompson.
