The Wrap confirmed in an exclusive on Tuesday that James Gunn is up for scripting and potential directing duties on the sequel to DCEU property, Suicide Squad. The move marks the latest development for the former Disney employee after being fired over tweets resurfaced by a right-wing provocateur back in July. Zhang Muye’s “Ghost Blows Out The Light” has made immense work of having itself applied to the big screen in the last several years. Wuershan’s Mojin: The Lost Legend was the first before Lu Chuan’s spiritual sequel, Chronicles Of The Ghostly Tribe while Fei Xing’s Worm Valley and Dragon Ridge entries remain a mystery following announcements by Enlight back in May. The good news is I’m getting back a little bit more into a steady viewing of anime.
