THREE: Johnnie To’s Explosive Suspense Thriller Gets DVD, Blu-Ray And Digital Release Dates

My own viewing of Johnnie To’s suspenseful crime thriller, Three, wasn’t a hugely favorable one, though a modestly entertaing spectacle with intrigue and grit. Other critics have given it some pretty favorable reviews in all fairness, and so on that note, folks will finally releasing in the U.S. courtesy of Well Go USA and so folks can now finally pre-order their DVD or Blu-Ray copies (links pending) before April 4. The film is also coming to Digital HD and VoD on March 7, and with that, we have a trailer as seen above, as well as a gallery full of stills and artwork. EFM 2017: THE LAST DRAW OF JACK OF HEARTS Reteams ‘Bunraku’ Star And Director

Bunraku writer and director Guy Moshe is reteaming with actor Josh Hartnett for a new revenge thriller on the horizon titled The Last Draw Of Jack Of Hearts. Production is reportedly commencing in April with Highland Film Group presenting the film this week to buyers at the European Film Market following its presentation at Toronto late last year by Disrupting Influence’s Glenn Kendrick Ackermann and Jason Piette when Hartnett was in talks to star. Billed as a neo-noir espionage thriller, Moshe’s script will see Hartnett as the leader of a black ops mercenary group who returns to Naples to seek revenge and reunite with the woman he loves after being betrayed by his team and left for dead in Africa. Ackermann and Piette are on board with Moshe as well as Matthew G. Zamias, Chimera Pictures’s Pedro Tarantino and Lituanica Film’s Karolis Malinauskas to produce the pic. H/T: Screendaily

I suppose that’s the case for filmmaker Cyrus Hogg who’s kept himself busy working on a few projects in the last seveal years, including David Karlak’s sci-fi short, Rise, which you can view here. One other item entails an arduous process that followed as of about 2012 with the production of Hogg’s own endeavor, Intrepid. At the center of this is Twilight Saga co-star Booboo Stewart whose exponential favor in Taekwondo training found his way to fellow dojang attendee, Hogg, once upon a time, and not for nothing either. ATTACH Casts ‘Chronicle’ Star Alex Russell Ahead Of EFM

Highland Film Group will be livening things up this month at the European Film Market representing director Chris Gorak’s upcoming third turn at the helm with the new movie, Attach. The film follows to previous directing credits and a longer list of nods in art directing for films such as Minority Report and Fight Club. Cast for the lead is Chronicle star Alex Russell in the role of Daniel Townsend, a star athlete who befalls a horrific car accident that costs him an arm and a leg, no pun intended. What happens next will determine his fate in the fight to save himself and the people around him when his cutting-edge prosthetics begin to take on a life of their own during his rehabilitation. Adam Shroeder will produce via his Adam Schroeder Entertainment banner alongside Rob Paris of Paris Film Inc., according to Deadline.

So, Some Blonde Walked Up To Me One Day…

This was the only normal picture I managed to take with a straight face. The struggle is very real. It’s not everyday that I bring my “other work” home…or in this case to my work. Rather, it’s not everyday my “other work” walks up to my door and gives me a great big hug before shooting the breeze. Such is what happened on Thursday at the tail end of stuntman Dylan Hintz’s recent visit to New York City for a few seminars, including Chazz Menendez’s Quiet Storm Training Group workshop with Person of Interest Coordinator Tony Vincent this past weekend. Dylan returned that week to train at Chazz’s newly established facility, UATW Stunts in New Rochelle which Hintz encourages both aspiring and current stunt people to check out HERE.
