COBRA KAI: Follow The Way Of The Fist In Both Seasons On DVD And Digital November 12

YouTube Premium is finally streaming Cobra Kai for free with ad support for a limited time. I’ve actually finished season one by now as it was released in its entirety last month while the network while season 2 is now streaming weekly episodes, also with ad support. That’s at least one way fans can currently catch the series while Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is officially proffering the series’ release on Collector’s Edition DVD, packed with special features and dual-sided headband. The show is also coming to Digital with both dated for a November 12 rollout. See the original films as recommended. BATTLE OF JANGSARI Scores An Official U.S. Trailer

I still have homework to do with Operation Chromite. In the meantime, its current follow-up, Kwak Kyung-Taek’s Battle Of Jangsari is poised for a North American open in select theaters, digital and VoD on October 11 from Well Go USA, and the official trailer has arrived to seal the deal. In 1950, over 700 student soldiers with only two weeks of boot camp training are deployed to open a path for the larger Incheon Landing Operation. This battle helped to turn the tide of the war against the communist backed forces from the North. Dark Frontier, Red Dog and Australia Day helmer Kriv Stenders will get his day on digital and on-demand on November 8 with war drama, Danger Close, from Saban Films. Haleigh Foutch’s exclusive at Collider introduces the official trailer sampling the epic, harrowing and inspired true story starring Travis Fimmel as a military major leading a small band of up to 100 men against the odds during the Battle of Long Tan during the Vietnam War. Also starring are Luke Bracey, Daniel Webber, Alexander England, Aaron Glenane, Nicholas Hamilton, Myles Pollard and Matt Dordan, with Anthony Hayes, and Richard Roxburgh.

THE PROTECT Teaser: Mum Jokmok Returns To Do What He Does Best!

It’s been a long time since Thai actor and comedian Mum Jokmok was a name among fans of the likes of his shared work with action heavy hitters Tony Jaa and Jeeja Yanin. Jokmok’s work precedes him amply with titles like Ong Bak, Tom Yum Goong, The Bodguard and The Kick among others and now he’s back with another rouser heading this November titled The Protect. That’s it. That’s about all there is to know apart from its idiomatic translation, Broken Bodyguard, and I’m while I’m not about to let Google Translate butcher any particular cast/crew, take what you will from the first teaser above seeing as it pretty much speaks for itself.

RAISING DION: A Gifted Young Boy Weathers The Storm In The Official Netflix Series Trailer

Comic book creator Dennis Liu’s 2015 release, Raising Dion, finally comes to life with the first official trailer and poster for the new Netflix series. Carol Barbee created and serves as exec producer with Liu, and with co-star Michael B. Jordan for the new nine-episode fantasy drama streaming on October 4. Raising Dion follows the story of a woman named Nicole (Alisha Wainwright), who raises her son Dion (newcomer Ja’Siah Young) after the death of her husband, Mark (Michael B. Jordan). The normal dramas of raising a son as a single mom are amplified when Dion starts to manifest several mysterious, superhero-like abilities. Nicole must now keep her son’s gifts secret with the help of Mark’s best friend Pat (Jason Ritter), and protect Dion from antagonists out to exploit him while figuring out the origin of his abilities. Long since his heyday with DTV fare, I Am Omega, actor Mark Dacascos is returning to the zombie genre with action horror, The Driver. Its arrival is a timely and welcome one for the action star whose latest fame of late brought appearances in John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum, and hit Netflix series, Wu Assassins. The film is directed by Wych Kaosayananda, best known for directing Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, before rebooting his career in Southeast Asia. WARIGAMI: Eddie Kim’s New Fantasy Martial Arts Series Debuts This Week!

Folks already subscribed to CW Seed in North America will be in good company with the two-hour premiere of Warigami, from writer Andrew Allen and director Jason Lapeyre. The series, featuring Emily Piggford and Kai Bradbury, booked a run in Canada earlier on after breaking news over the summer and will now commence its debut on Sunday night on the CW Network before streaming exclusively on the CW Seed app. Wendy Ohata (Piggford) has just made three startling realizations: One, she has a twin brother; two, she’s a kami-jin – a descendent of an ancient Japanese people who can turn paper into deadly weapons; and three, there’s a kami-jin warrior hunting her down for reasons she doesn’t understand. Also starring are Akiel Julien, Miho Suzuki and David Hewlett. Eddie Kim, who birthed the original 2015 webseries, serves as the show’s creator, as well as an exec producer.

It was last week when Well Go USA publicly acquired the rights to Andrew Lau’s true survival tale, The Captain. That film is now poised for a select release beginning October 4 and us folks here in the states now have a trailer to help get settled. Hanyu Zhang leads the way for what is being billed as “Lau’s cinematic portrayal of the most miraculous emergency landing in the contemporary history of Chinese aviation”. The Captain is based on an incident that occurred on a Monday morning in May 2018 when a Sichuan Airlines flight from Chongqing to Lhasa spiraled into chaos after the windshiled cockpit collapsed, leaving the occupants to endure low pressure at high altitudes over the Tibetan Plateau as Captain Liu Chuanjian took charge and fought through fearsome odds to bring everyone home. Lupita Nyong’o, Alexander England and Josh Gad lead the charge in writer/director Abe Forsythe’s latest horror comedy, Little Monsters. Hat tip to Deadline‘s post with assets to the new Hulu orginal which opens on the streamer on October 11 following a one-night theatrical outing on October 8. Dave (England) is a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten trip after taking a shine to the plucky schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). His intentions are complicated by the presence of Teddy McGiggle, a world-famous Wigglesque child entertainer and competitor for Caroline’s affections. One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak; now Dave and Miss Caroline must protect the children. On Thursday, Polish Film Club announced its acquisition and planned stateside releases of the latter three, and on the heels of all three titles having amassed positive box office returns: Women of Mafia earned nearly £900,000 while his 2017 horror thriller, Botoxx, amassed over £1 million, making it the third highest foreign language film that year.
