Actor Dolph Lundgren shared this post earlier in the week on his official Facebook page from The Expendables (2010). I have to say, the nostalgia kicked in after reading this post. He and Sylvester Stallone were a classic pairing in 1985 when they duked it out in Rocky IV. Almost 30 years…that’s how long its been. It’s very humbling.
On that note, check out the following.
The brand new promotional poster is online for the upcoming production of writer, producer and star Dolph Lundgren‘s next film, Skin Trade, from director Ekachai Uekrongtham. The film was recently announced on Lundgren’s official website with international action star Tony Jaa cast for a lead role, as per a “deal” Lundgren made with the Thai actor and martial arts action hero. Set to begin filming early next year, Skin Trade is based on a screenplay from Lundgren, with Gabriel Dorwick and Steven Elder and another draft by John Hyams. The plot follows a tough New York cop who flies to Thailand in pursuit of his family’s killer with the help of a local detective.
The poster comes just in time as Jaa is set to debut his first English-speaking role in the blockbuster action sequel, Fast And Furious 7, long after completing his previous film with Lundgren titled A Man Will Rise. Lundgren is currently filming The Expendables 3 with Sylvester Stallone and Co. for an August 2014 release. Meanwhile, Jaa is ramping up promotion for the October 23, 2013 release of Tom Yum Goong 2, joined by Jeeja Yanin, Marrese Crump and RZA.
