COLONY: Official U.S. Teaser Revealed For Yeon Sang-Ho’s New Zombie Revival
Arriving in time for the decennial screening event for Train To Busan, the stewards over at Well Go USA have also added director Yeon Sang-ho’s Cannes-selected Colony to its banner summer plans, slating an August 28 theatrical release. The film is also picking up a number of territories at the Cannes market where Showbox is repping world sales.
Horror master Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan) directs a new Korean zombie thriller starring Gianna Jun and Koo Kyo-hwan. Professor Se-jeong is thrust into a bloody nightmare when a rapidly mutating virus is released during a biotech conference causing authorities to seal the facility. Trapped inside with no escape, Se-jeong along with a small group of survivors must fight to stay alive while the infected undergo horrific transformations.
Colony stars Gianna Jun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rock, and Go Soo. Showbox is also releasing the film before Korean audiences on May 21.
