CROWS EXPLODE With A New Trailer And TV Spot!
It’s been a little over a year since director Toyoda Toshiaki‘s latest induction into the live-action manga-based Crows franchise with Crows Explode, launched a few teasers announcing the film, following the earlier successes of filmmaker Takashi Miike in 2007 and 2009. Well, the new year has arrived as the April 12 theatrical release date in Japan grows closer for the new film set one month after the events of Crows Zero 2, and aimed at reinvigorating the hard-hitting franchise centered in the same violent, testosterone-overloaded pit known as Suzuran High School, with new characters, new rivalries, and plenty of new blood to spill.
Crows Explode takes place in the time frame between the saga of Crows Zero I & II and Crows. Shortly after Genji Takiya’s graduation, a new gang emerged with the aim to control Suzuran High.
Meanwhile, just as their seniors, the current Suzuran boys got into an interschool fight with yet another rival school.
