Fictional film based on true events that follows a group of Anita Mui fans that saves from the trash a collection of fan-given gifts to Anita that the star kept until the day of her death. Those loyal fans return the gifts to the senders, and personal stories about fandom and friendship emerges.
Anita Mui was something more than just a popular singer or a succesful movie star, she was, and still is, an icon beloved by million of fans who worshipped her like a goddess. There´s no doubt that she was a star and an incredible talented performer, and the only celebrity, besides Bruce Lee, who has a statue in Hong Kong’s avenue of stars.
This semi-biographical film directed by Clifton Ko, is a celebration of her life and legacy made by fans for fans starred by Sonjia Kwok (A step into the past), Myolie Wu (Hong Kong West side stories), Alex Lam (My Wife is a superstar) and even including a brief appearance of HK veteran actor Richard Ng (My Lucky stars)
