AGBO/Neon Actioner EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE Sees Two ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Up To Star
Swiss Army Man directing duo, The Daniels – Dan Kwan & Daniel Scheinert – are in development for what Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. cited on Thursday as “an inter-dimension action film”, in Everything Everywhere All At Once. The report states that talks are happening for actresses Awkwafina (Oceans Eight) and Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Discovery) to star as the film approaches its Spring 2019 production start.
Plot details are unknown for the film which is being backed by Neon in partnership with Anthony and Joe Russo‘s burgeoning AGBO banner as the latter company expands on a sprawling raft of projects and ideas with other entities. Awkwafina and Yeoh both appeared in Jon M. Chu’s trailblazing romantic comedy, Crazy Rich Asians, which is stirring a sequel momentum at Warner Bros.
Yeoh, best known for her longstanding feats immortalized in martial arts action cinema history will next appear in Yuen Woo-Ping’s Master Z: Ip Man Legacy, starring Max Zhang, Dave Bautista and Tony Jaa, as well as Jeffrey Lau’s fantasy flick, Nehza.
