GOOD TIME: Watch The Trailer For The Safdies’ New Crime Drama Cannes Entry
At first glance, you couldn’t have paid me enough to recognize actor Robert Pattinson in the latest trailer for the new crime drama, Good Time from film duo Josh and co-star Ben Safdie. I guess that’s what happens when you look away for a while because his role shown in the newest trailer for the film from A24, now heading for an in-competition premiere at Cannes on May 25th, ahead of an August 11 release in the U.S.
After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine Nikas (Robert Pattinson) embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city’s underworld in an increasingly desperate—and dangerous—attempt to get his brother out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Constantine finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance.
