GUARDIANS OF THE TOMB: China Exhumes A Release Date Amid U.S. And U.K. Pick-Ups
A heart-pounding action adventure flick about a group of expert scientists who, on the cusp of the world’s greatest discovery, must out run – and out wit – a swarm of predatory Funnel Webs spiders that guard the labyrinth tomb of a once powerful Chinese Emperor.
Gravitas Ventures and Signature Entertainment have also acquired rights to the film for the U.S. and the U.K. respectively with release dates for both territories pending. Kellan Lutz and actress Li Bingbing star along with Kelsey Grammer and Chinese popstar Wu Chun from a script by Rendall and co-scribe Paul Staheli, and with Deng Shuo, Arclight chief Gary Hamilton, Ying Ye and Mark Lazarus serving as producers.
“We are thrilled to have found such solid and professional partners to release Guardians of the Tomb in these major territories,” Hamilton said. “We know that our film is in great hands and we are excited to see how the public reacts to what we know is a great time at the movies.”
