It’s been eight years since Sabbir Khan dazzled Indian moviegoing crowds with the amazing feats of actor Tiger Shroff and the romantic, beat ’em up escapades of Heropanti. Granted, I’m not really sure if you need to see that one in order to follow up with its current sequel, though all that’s known in terms of the connection is that Shroff is back playing a character with the same name.
At any rate, you can expect this latest offering from director Ahmed Khan to have pretty much double and maybe even triple the ridiculousness of the first in terms of action and spectacle. Tiger taking on moving cars single-handedly, dressed to perfection for sweeping dance choreo set or to simply show some muscle through ripped clothing, all set against a vivid and lively backdrop per this kind of cinema and…well… there you have it.
Babloo is a computer genius and Inaaya is a self-made billionaire. The two fall in love but due to unforeseen circumstances they suddenly part ways. When they are reunited, action, drama and edge of the seat thrills follow as the world wants Babloo dead.
Shroff is joined by actress Tara Sutaria and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the film’s April 29 release.
