BAAGHI 3 Official Trailer: Don’t Bother Trying To Keep A Straight Face Here
I enjoyed the mindless spectacle and thrills of the first Baaghi and still need to see the second film. At any rate however, I’m pretty sure the story doesn’t matter at this point, because as much as this trailer sells itself, I’m basically died while I wrote this piece.
Siddharth Anand’s WAR: Hrithik VS. Tiger VS. Gun Battles VS. Fast Cars VS. Motorcycles VS. Martial Arts VS. All-Around Explosive Action In The Official Teaser
It was in 2015 when I first caught wind of actor Hrithik Roshan in what would ultimately be my first exposure to Bollywood cinema with Bang Bang. I’ve since been a Hrithik fan after five of his films in total, while additionally keeping track of Jackie Shroff’s martial arts wunderkind offspring, Tiger Shroff who broke out in 2016 with romantic action comedy, Heropanti.

MUNNI MICHAEL: Tiger Shroff Dances And Fights Like There’s No Tomorrow In The Official Trailer
There’s still a ways before we get to see what comes of action star Tiger Shroff’s turn as Rambo in an upcoming remake set for next year. Siddharth Anand’s Indian RAMBO Brings Out The Big Guns In A New Preliminary Poster
Whatever likes and shares that followed online notwithstanding, some folks on the internet lost their minds when they learned an Indian action star was going to reprise the lead role in a Rambo remake. It’s not a bad move seeing as how actor and martial artist Tiger Shroff (Heropanti, Baaghi) has earned himself some notable starpower in the last few years.
Alas, he’ll be the one playing the title role as inspired by Ted Kotchoff’s 1982 adaptation of David Morrell’s 1977 novel which helped catapult a younger Sylvester Stallone into Hollywood stardom. As for whether Shroff looks the part or not, he took some time over the weekend to share a preliminary poster for the film which, for what it’s worth, answers the question for folks who are curious.
The Indian Rambo will follow the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land. Forced into the dangerous jungles and frozen mountains of the Himalayas, he unleashes mayhem and destruction, becoming the unstoppable machine he was trained to be.
One other thing this film has going for itself is its director, Siddharth Anand who is no stranger to remakes, particularly after having done something truly special with the 2014 Knight And Day remake, Bang Bang! starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif. So, there’s reason to be optimistic…unless you insist on Stallone/Rambo all day everyday, which is cool too. To each his own.
Rambo hails from M! Capital Ventures, Original Entertainment, Impact Films and Siddharth Anand Pictures. Anand is set to produce the film along with Daljit DJ Parmar, Samir Gupta, Hunt Lowry, Saurabh Gupta and Gulzar Inder Chahal with cameras rolling early next year for a late 2018 release.

The original film takes its cues from David Morrell’s 1977 novel, “First Blood”, lending a young Sylvester Stallone what would become one of the actor’s most memorable, and incidentally iconic action movie franchises in the genre’s history, with a set of three films between 1982 and 1988 earning more than $600 million dollars. Stallone revived the character in 2008 for a feral, hyperviolent fourth offering in Rambo before talk of plans for either a fifth or a fresh television adaptation would arise. Both turned out to be non-starters before Stallone officially retired the character on January 5, 2016.
Anand is set to produce the film along with Daljit DJ Parmar, Samir Gupta, Hunt Lowry, Saurabh Gupta and Gulzar Inder Chahal. The past few years saw Shroff kick off his film career debuting in the 2014 action film, Heropanti before seuging forward in the romantic hard-hitting 2015 follow-up, Baaghi and Remo D’Souza’s 2016 superhero actioner, A Flying Jatt.
“Being a martial artist and a huge action movie buff since childhood, this all seems very surreal, and I’m very grateful for this opportunity,” said Shroff. “By no means do I believe I can replace the legendary Sylvester Stallone; however, I do feel that somehow this is something I’ve been preparing for since childhood.”
“Rambo is one of the most iconic action blockbuster films from my generation,” said Anand, who also directed the successful Indian remake ($55 million worldwide) of Tom Cruise’s Knight and Day. “I grew up looking up to heroes such as Stallone, and in a time where the Indian industry is lacking action characters of Rambo’s caliber, this is a perfect time to introduce Tiger in this role.”
He added: “I cannot wait to work with Tiger on this film. He has that aura about him, a power and vulnerability that will make him the next iconic action hero of our time.”
Production is expected to launch early next year for a fourth quarter 2018 release.
The New Trailer For HEROPANTI Brings Action, Romance, And The Mechanics Of Kicking People In The Face
The martial arts cinema genre is still fair game anywhere around the world, including the inner-circles of Bollywood cinema, an industry that is said to produce out up to a good thousand films per year. And in 2014, actor Jai Hemanta Shroff who goes by the official screen persona, Tiger Shroff is ready to jump onboard the action scene in his upcoming theatrical debut, Heropanti.
A bastian of fitness, avid Bruce Lee fan and son of veteran actor Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Tiger has driven some pretty huge buzz in the past few years as the next big thing despite being a fresh face. And as of late, Tiger‘s made himself pretty busy promoting his new film, even so far as giving live performances with his team to illustrate the authenticity of his skill set without wires.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, Heropanti stands to be the first of two films starring Tiger in his first move to the big screen with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, leaving a little something more for action fans to expand their fanfare with their favorite genre.
Heropanti also stars actress Kriti Sanon and will get its day in Indian cinemas this Friday.
