Juan Manuel Olmedo Goes To Prison In The Latest Action Sequel Promo For LEY MORTAL
The momentum is inarguably in favor of Argentinean action hero, actor Juan Manuel Olmedo. The festival circulation and local success of his 2013 action thriller, Justicia Propia, has since paved the way for the development of a sequel now set to go into production very soon following our exclusive report back in May annoncing the title, Ley Mortal (Mortal Law).
Furthermore, the addition of Kickboxer co-star, actor Mohamed Qissi has also made things more opportune for Olmedo who himself has been a fan of American and Asian action cinema all his life. The providence here is quite clear here with both currently sharing more space together in recent weeks ahead of Qissi‘s martial arts and fight choreography seminars in Argentina on September 25, 26 and 27prior to filming.
As such, the hype machine has already begun its campaign with the recent release of a pre-production action teaser for Ley Mortal. Olmedo led and produced the first film under helmer Sergio Mastroberti, in the role of a hard-boiled cop forced to avenge the murder of his niece beyond the limits of the law. The new film, to be directed by Gaston Cha, now lands our hero in a maximum security prison after being framed for the murder of his sister, and will be forced to go toe-to-toe with courrpt law enforcement and other inmates to save his own life and that of his lawyer ex-girlfriend, and ultimately avenge his sister.
Stunt Fighter Producciones, 3C Films and Lumiere Films are behind the new film with a script by Bruno Zilli, and Olmedo producing with Juan Crespo and Adrian Ortiz. Check out the promo below and keep your eyes peeled for more information on Ley Mortal!

It's also a pre-production promo which doesn't signify what the final product will look like, but offers just a peek at concept itself.
