Korean Crime Drama THE POLICEMAN’S LINEAGE Arrives In The U.S. On June 7
Echelon Studios is taking the wheel for director Lee Kyu-man’s thrilling new crime drama, The Policeman’s Lineage which bowed in Korea back in January. The film stars Choi Woo-sik (Parasite) and Cho Jin-woong (The Handmaiden), along with Park Myeong-hoon (Parasite), and Park Hee-soon (Apple TV+’s “Dr. Brain”) for the film’s digital, VOD and cable releases on June 7.
Parasite’s Woo-sik Choi stars as Choi Min-Jae, a rookie police officer and a man of principle, who teams up with Park Gang-Yoon, the chief of an investigation team that has an unrivaled arrest record but includes corrupt methods. Together, the two very different policemen dive deep into a massive case that shakes the police force upside down.
The Policeman’s Lineage is produced by Lee Han-seung (The Tower), and exec produced by Jung Hyun-joo (The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil). The film’s cable, digital and VOD releases will be held by Comcast, Charter-Spectrum, DirecTV, iTunes, Cox Cable, Dish Network, Sling TV, Google Play, Verizon Fios, Fandango / VUDU, InDemand, Vubiquity, Rogers and Vimeo On Demand.
