With period creature feature Strange Object still in tow, actors Park Hee-Soon and Kim In-Kwon are currently the subject of upcoming high octane revenge flick, Legend. Making his directorial debut on this will be Lee Seung-Won in reunion with Park who co-starred in 2013 fugitive thriller, The Suspect, on which Lee served as assistant director for Won Shin-Yeon prior to 2017 suspense flick, Memoir Of A Murderer.
Lee’s tentatively titled action movie will reportedly set sail with production next month in Indonesia according to reporter Christopher Weatherspoon at KoBiz. Where the film centers on a man who deliberately imprisons himself in AP101, Asia’s most hellish penitentiary where survival of the fittest is law, Park will play the role of Kun, the influential leader of Asia’s most notorious organization at the inner-most controls of the facility.
Details on Kim’s role remain pending while the film aims for a 2018 release. Apart from The Suspect, Park is best known for previous performances in recent flicks such as period drama, The Fortress, and Korean border-crossing crime thriller, V.I.P..
