Martial Arts Action Comedy Hit, JAILBREAK, Breaks Out Onto Netflix Everywhere

Not getting around any in the festival scene is a greater hinderance than preferred. It hasn’t stopped me from trying to cover certain events, especially with the equal excitement and appeal drawn with viewers and film fans alike for Cambodia’s milestone cinematic effort, martial arts action comedy Jailbreak.
The past two years have been an amazing ride covering this martial arts action comedy directed by Jimmy Henderson and starring the likes of Jean-Paul Ly, Dara Our, Tharoth Sam and Celine Tran. The acclaimed hit movie is now on Netflix globally, including in the UK where MCM London Comic-Con attendees will get to exclusively meet Ly among the panelists repping his newest martial arts thriller, Nightshooters, from director Marc Price.
That event will be on May 26 at the Silver Theater, which still leaves you plenty of time to warm up to Ly’s screen caliber as a rising film talent via Jailbreak. Check out my review, believe the hype and watch it now on Netflix, and don’t miss out on Ly’s most recent action directing effort on Henderson’s prison survival action thriller, The Prey, which is now in post-production.
