Marvel fans are all but getting their just dues and feeling right at home this year, both with big AND small screen successes. The current serial profusion of Netflix series Luke Cage adds to the fan fervor with a narrative that has since set in stone our hero’s team up with the other three titular protagonists of their respective shows in The Defenders last year.
With a second season possibly pending for the latter, a second offering is definitely in the cards with June 22 following suit for viewers keen on the return of Mike Colter back in the title role and no less in otherwise big, bad and bulletproof fashion. The actor is joined therein by actor Mustafa Shakir and actress Gabrielle Dennis, and the collective reprisals of Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Rosario Dawson and Theo Rossi, and with Lucy Liu directing no less.
