Netflix Series SANTO: ‘Yakuza Princess’ Director’s New Crime Thriller Drama Series Premieres Next Month
Netflix is hailing the Spanish audiences with the latest look at Santo, the upcoming crime series debuting September 16 on the streamer. Produced by Nostromo Pictures and filmed between Spain and Brazil, Santo tells of two radically opposed cops, Cardona (Bruno Gagliasso) and Millán (Raúl Arévalo), will must learn to work together in order to survive while solving their latest, dangerous case involving an elusive drug trafficker whose face has never been revealed.
The six-part crime procedural also stars Victoria Guerra, Greta Fernández, Luiz Felipe Lucas, and María Vázquez. Carlos López created the series for which Vicente Amorim, best known for A Divisão, Motorrad, and Magnet Releasing’s Yakuza Princess, serves as director.
