NIGHT HUNT: Check Out Gaetan Caillot’s Debut Action Horror Short Now Online
*Updated on August 23 to correct video embed issue*
8.16.21: This one’s been online as of last week courtesy of film duo Gaetan Caillot and Gabriel Senges, with indie fantasy action horror, Night Hunt. The short was shot last year in France where Caillot relocated following his stint with the Robert Rodriguez-produced Cirque Du Soleil live action thriller stage show, R.U.N., until its closure last Spring.
Caillot, a stunt performer and martial artist, takes his stab at the helm here for Night Hunt, telling the story of two investigators, Saïkan and Edward on a quest to learn more about a spate of mysterious and seemingly gruesome disappearances in the middle of the night. He stars with Senges as the latter, and with Caillot handling the fight scenery on both sides of the lens.
It’s only about 23 minutes long and definitely bodes as a concept asking to be fully fleshed out given the cliffhanger ending. Check it out above!
