Reel Time: RUSTIC B. (2014)
If you’re at all familiar with the freerunning scene, you might have heard the name, Rustic Bodomov (or Rustic B. for short). An aspiring athlete since the age of age ten, Bodomov is now an award-winning martial artist and self-taught traceur who has traveled select parts of the world to showcase his skills while also honing in on his craft as an independent filmmmaker.
Now, a Hollywood stuntman and up-and-coming director at the age of 23, a there appears to be no sign of him slowing down while continuing to work his way up. Upon collaborating with other stunt and film professionals for the launch of the LA-based production group, Angelo Brothers as of last year, Rustic B. will be further stepping into the foray of film production and and production assistance, doing his best to inspire other ambitious new indie directors. In addition, you can expect to hear more in the coming weeks with his involvement in a new feature film production starting this July with actor and former WWE wrestler, John Hennigan (a.k.a. Johnny Nitro).
As for stunts, well… he hasn’t stopped that either. In addition to a sharing a comprehensive series of video and blog editiorials on fight choreography and training, and contributing tutorials and advice articles for Team Loopkicks in the coming months, he also has a brand new reel this month which you can look at below.
