“Why would I betray you?”
“We all have our secrets.. We just didn’t get to yours yet!“
That’s how things start in the first official trailer now running for Cary Joji Fukanaga’s own contribution to the 007 saga in No Time To Die. And all in the midst of a rip-roaring high-speed chase through another rocky, exotic international locale to cue in what looks to be another stellar offering for actor Daniel Craig’s final outing as the notorious superspy after five films.
In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Most of the regulars have returned along with a batch of new faces thrown into the mix, including Ana de Armas, Lea Seydoux, and Lashana Lynch who latest role joins in on the action as fellow 00, “Nomi”. Others starring for the 25th entry into the bond franchise include Billy Magnussen and actor Rami Malek for the film’s releases around the world beginning April 2, with a U.S. release on April 8.
