NO TIME TO DIE: The 25th Chapter Of The James Bond Spy Saga Gets Its Title And New Details
I’m thankful to still have enough time to procrastinate before finally sitting down with Spectre as the new and 25th Bond entry approaches. This one is called No Time To Die, officially announced on Tuesday by Eon Productions and MGM with release dates set for next year.
KNIVES OUT: Don’t Miss The Official Trailer For Rian Johnson’s Whirlwind Whodunit Mystery Thriller
While Daniel Craig remains back-on-track with efforts toward the next chapter 007 chapter, the actor’s latest rollout is coming in November with Knives Out. The project was a hot-ticket item last year in Toronto along with a top-notch ensemble cast now headlining the new murder mystery opus. Plot details also remained underwraps for months as well but now that changes with the following:
BOND 25 In Production, Cast Officially Announced
MGM fired on all cylinders on Thursday for the official live reveal of the next Bond adventure currently due for next year. The reveal took place at GoldenEye, 007 author Ian Fleming’s Jamaican villa with producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and director Cary Fukanaga on hand discussing the franchise, its origins, influence and overall importance.
BOND 25 Lands Cary Fukunaga To Helm Spy Saga This Spring
It’s been about four months since Danny Boyle was announced to helm the 25th installment of the 007 franchise. With his departure last month since then left the search for another in his place as EON Productions and MGM paired with Universal for its previous release on November 8, 2019.
KNIVES OUT: Daniel Craig Sharpens Up For Rian Johnson’s Indie Crime Flick
Writer/director and self-described Agatha Christie “nut” Rian Johnson and producing partner Ram Bergman are currently readying a company of their own to help finance their next film, Knives Out, ahead of Toronto International Film Festival this week. Deadline reported exclusively on Tuesday that actor Daniel Craig is set to have accepted the lead role in the new project which Johnson had previously staked in for Craig, a move that sets up a potential A-list roster in upcoming casting news.
BOND 25: Universal Partners For Worldwide Theatrical 2019 Release
Well it took a few years and a small compromise to make happen but we now have another James Bond film in the mix for release next year with cameras now set to roll this December 3. Actor Daniel Craig, following a slight controversial stint, is at long last returning to star as 007 for a fifth outing since rebooting it with Casino Royale onward through the action-packed Spectre.
As the latest announcement reads, EON and MGM have made it official with Universal Pictures partnering to release Bond 25 next year with Universal’s UK open on October 25, followed by MGM’s U.S. rollout on November 8 through its new joint domestic venture with Annapurna Pictures. Slumdog Millionaire helmer Danny Boyle is finally confirmed to direct from an original screenplay by Academy Award nominee, Trainspotting scribe John Hodge.
Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli commented, “We are delighted to announce that the exceptionally talented Danny Boyle will be directing Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as James Bond in the 25th instalment of the franchise. We will begin shooting Bond 25 at Pinewood Studios in December with our partners at MGM and thrilled that Universal Pictures will be our international distributor.”
“Under the leadership of Michael and Barbara, we couldn’t be more thrilled than to bring the next 007 adventure to the big screen uniting the incomparable Daniel Craig with the extraordinary vision of Danny Boyle,” said MGM’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Kevin Ulrich. MGM’s President, Motion Picture Group Jonathan Glickman added, “It has been 16 years since DIE ANOTHER DAY was distributed by MGM and it’s incredibly gratifying to be releasing this film alongside the powerhouse team at Universal.”
“Universal is extremely proud to collaborate with Michael, Barbara and MGM on the international marketing and distribution of Bond 25,” said Chairman of Universal Pictures Donna Langley. “The unparalleled combination of Danny’s innovative filmmaking and Daniel’s embodiment of 007 ensured we simply had to be partners in the next chapter of this iconic series.”
Daniel Craig On Returning As 007: ‘Yes.’
Say what you will about this one, but only actor Daniel Craig could answer why he waited this long to confirm what the NY Times reported last month on the actor’s return to the title role for EON Productions’s new 007 film. Alas, Craig, who stars this Friday in Steve Soderbergh’s heist comedy, Logan Lucky, took to The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to share the good news with fans, marking his own fifth reprisal for the 25 installation of the franchise character.
Bond franchise scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are penning the script with Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli producing for the film’s November 2019 release in the U.K. and subsequently in the U.S. and worldwide to follow. Further crewing and casting news remains pending on who will join Craig follwing Spectre (2015) which raked in over $880 million dollars at the box office, just shy of the $1.1 billion dollars raked in by its predecessor, Skyfall (2012) – both directed by Sam Mendes.

James Bond Returns To Theaters In 2019
News and headlines regarding the development of a new 007 movie have been pretty eventful. Damage control took a bit of effort before actor Daniel Craig eased back and switched gears toward reprising the title superspy character of James Bond after four films and other updates as of late are starting to make things seem optimistic.
That all comes in the wake of talk and hype over a possible female take on the character and as things stand, nothing is solid just yet in terms of casting. Of course, Craig may very well have nabbed the role once more for fifth film but we won’t know for sure until the announcement is made, although what is being made official are as follows:
James Bond will return to US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional earlier release in the UK and the rest of the world. Bond 25 will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. The film’s cast, director and distributor will be announced at a later date.
Craig led the previous action-packed spectacle, Spectre in 2015 which brought in over $880 million dollars at the box office – just shy of the $1.1 billion dollars raked in by its predecessor, Skyfall.
Craig appears in Steve Soderbergh’s crime comedy, Logan Lucky, on August 18. Wilson and Broccoli are also involved in Blake Lively spy actioner, The Rhythm Section, with IM Global and EON Productions and is already in pre-production before cameras roll later this year.

Sam Mendes Talks SPECTRE In A New Set Video
Updates on the production on Sam Mendes’s forthcoming new movie fron Sony Pictures, Spectre continues and several set pics have already begun making the rounds, including the very set photo above from earlier this month. Actor Daniel Craig reprises his role for the forth time with set of new faces taking the place of the franchise’s classic characters, including the respective iterations of Moneypenny, M and Q by actress Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Wishaw.
The highlight of the film’s title mainly draws closer to a plot that may be familar in some capacity with the 1961 and 1962 Bond franchise films, Thunderball and Dr. No;The plot itself is not yet known as filming continues, although we now have a new set video from Mendes offering just a small glimpse of his own insight regarding the story and where our title hero is in his evolution. The film comes out November 6, 2015 and although the production did hit a few indirect snags, hopefully this latest induction into Bond movie history will prove just as memorable and spectacular as 2012’s Skyfall.
