SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE Swings Online With An Official Teaser
There was once a time a little over three years ago when I felt overcome by the presence of so many Spider-Man movies. I’d like to believe Sony has finally managed to find its footing with this particular IP while having invested amply into fans and especially now that they’ve dug a little deeper into the fandom with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and a fresh new teaser from the weekend to start things off.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
The trailer itself does wonderful in introducing Morales to the fray, probably changing minds in the process for some folks who may have wanted a live-action offering instead. I know I did, but that’s not what we’re getting. Similarly though, it is what it is and I’m not complaining.
Save your webbing for next Christmas when this releases and keep the trailer below!
