Survival Action Thriller RAT CATCHER Needs Your Support!
U.K. based film production company Lightfilms have been heavily active in their campaign to promote funding for their latest ambitious new action thriller, Rat Catcher. The project comes off the heels of having earned major cult success with their previous hit zombie flick, Wasteland, and with just thirteen days left in their Indiegogo crowdfunding movement, director Tom Wadlow and producer Chrissa Wadlow are proposing major perks for anyone willing to invest in their new labor of love, particularly with a film that aims to entertain with riveting storytelling tweaked with glorious, epic, brutal action. And judging by the tagline and synopsis, I’m certain this could be good!
Think Rambo. Think Deer Hunter. Think Bourne.
Three brothers have a close bond, which has broken in recent years because of their ill-made decisions. Now, after the death of their Dad, they’ve reunited and are making a conscious effort to bond by going away to a log cabin in the middle of nowhere on a testosterone-fuelled hunting trip.
Keen to move on to a new chapter as a family, one brother wants to wipe the slate clean. However, the trouble that the other brothers have caused at home has followed them there… Along with a current girlfriend who’s intentions are not as purely sexual as they appear at face value.
Their mission is to now get through this trip alive, protecting one another but fighting a gang of thugs as they go… It’s a hunting trip like no other, that has certainly taken a terrifying twist… Will they all survive? And how will it end?
