Any day is a good day when you find out that Well Go USA is giving Alienoid fans the back-to-back sequel treatment announcing Alienoid: Return To The Future. Indeedy, a January 26 U.S. release has been tacked onto the official teaser now running online which you can view below.

Choi Dong-hoon is back to bookend his epic alien battle time-jumping saga with CJ ENM’s Alienoid: Part 2. The film continues the adventure with a mix roster of new and returning cast members led by Kim Tae-ri, Kim Woo-bin, and Ryu Joon-yeol, all featured on the newest poster revealed on Wednesday along with the first official teaser trailer.

With the fair certainty of the second part set to arrive sometime this year, it’s worth making note that director Choi Dong-hoon’s fantasy time-travel sci-fi adventure, Alienoid: Part 1, is now streaming on Prime Video in the U.S. The film stars Kim Tae-ri, Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Woo-bin, and Choi Yoo-ri in the story that spans two time periods in which robot bounty hunters caring for a Joseon orphan in present-day Korea, and a fledgling Joseon-era Taoist wizard eyeing a mysterious gun-toting woman in search of a “divine blade,” meet head-on as an alien invasion looms.

Choi's ASSASSINATION Gets A U.S. Release Date!
Director Choi Dong-hoon‘s new period espionage thriller, Assassination, is getting a leg up this week with new character posters which you may view at the bottom of the page. The film is poised for a release in South Korea this July while the promotional campaign rolls on with its fair share of the usual trailers and featurettes, and other gems pertaining to the new movie which reunites Choi with a handful of notable actors.
As for the film’s exposure elsewhere, it is only a matter of time before audiences abroad get to check out the film for themselves, especially for North America and Canada where Well Go USA continues to provide a sure service for Asian movie fans stateside. And as such, Assassination is getting a limited theatrical release on August 7, 2015 with locations pending.
SYNOPSIS:
Early 1900s Korea was under Japanese occupation and many Korean resistance activists were based in China, hiding from the Japanese authorities.The year 1933 in Shanghai, a command to covertly assassinate the Japanese Army’s commander is given to AHN Ok-yun, a top-notch sniper sentenced to death. For this task, YEM Sek-jin, an agent of the interim government extricates AHN Ok-yun and her comrades from the prison. But the grand plan is exposed to Japan by an internal spy and a hit man, Hawaii-Pistol is being hired to get rid of AHN. The assassination squad arrives in Korea without knowing hit-man’s chase. Can she make the impossible mission completed?
Actress Gianna Jun leads the cast with fellow The Thieves co-stars Lee Jung-Jae and Oh Dal-su, along with Kundo stars Ha Jung-Woo, Cho Jin-woong and Lee Kyoung-young.

Gianna Jun To Star In ASSASSINATION
So far, 2014 has tuned out to be another landmark year for Korean action cinema, and Woochi (2009) and The Thieves (2012) writer and director Choi Dong-Hoon is looking to help continue that trend next summer.
Set between China and Korea during the 1930’s, Assassination reunites Choi with actress Gianna Jun whose prior role in the less-than-impressive 2006 live-action adaptation, Blood: The Last Vampire, followed with two big theatrical hits, including The Thieves, and the 2013 flick, The Berlin File. This time, Assassination will have her leading a group of assassins charged by the Korean resistance to target key supporters of the Japanaese occupation.
Joining Jun are her fellow The Thieves co-stars Lee Jung-Jae and Oh Dal-su, along with Kundo (2014) stars Ha Jung-Woo, Cho Jin-woong and Lee Kyoung-young. Choi will produce the film along with partner Ahn Soo-hyun for Caper Films with Showbox financing and distributing the film for its 2015 release.
